Guest guest
The gluten free diet does NOT have to be expensive. stick to brown rice, potatoes & corn for starches, and then do fresh fruit/veggies, chicken/fish. She also has type 1 diabetes and lactose intolerant, so we were limited in those areas as well. My daughter was diagnosed gluten SENSITIVE, not celiac, and we (the whole family) went on a GF diet... they say that if one family member has it, the likelihood of others having it are high... we are all healthier and feel much better because of it. there are lots of GF recipes/websites online. try it for a couple of weeks (you'll be grumpy about it at first!), and give it a chance. ) Irene
