Guest guest
Hello, We gave her first Kineret injection last night at 8:30pm. At 8:30am the site (right thigh) started itching, which I know is a common reaction. Then I stopped into school at 12noon today and she has a small rash on the top of her left hand. It's a really small amount, like a half dollar size area. It almost looks like eczema but it isn't itching. Am REALLY hoping this isn't from Kineret, and am freaked out about giving the second injection tonight. But I certainly don't want to not give it to her - I want it to work!! Have left a message for Rheumy nurse. I guess I could give her Benadryl and see if the rash on her hand goes away, then it might point to an allergy? What do you all think?! nn (, 9, systemic)
