Guest guest
I would like to start a non-profit that goes strictly towards research for a cure. I have had arthritis since I was five years old. That was 34yrs ago. I read these stories, and they remind me so much of what I went through in school, and as a child the treatments have really not changed much. My knees are in very bad shape, and I have had 6 surgeries two major, and now they dont dislocate, but the pain is still intense. I think the arthritis foundation is a good foundation, but they have never helped me. I just want private funds for a cure period all research. Does anyone think this is a good idea that they would support. I just read these stories and its my parents and me all over again breaks my heart. Best wishes and keep your hope. Guest guest
Thank you....what will your foundation do exactly once you get non profit status?Maureen Young From: <mt4mar@...> Subject: Foundation achalasia Date: Wednesday, June 29, 2011, 8:06 PM Â Hello all I have not been on here for a while. I am glad that it is still going strong and helping many who are seeking help. I just want to let everyone know that I have been working on a non profit foundation for Achalasia. I just received notifcation form the state of Gorgia acknowledging the incorperation of the foundation. I am now waiting for the federal government to approve the foundation as a non profit organization. The foundation name is The MArtin Mueller IV Achalasia Awareness Foundation. I want this project to work for all who have this disease and help any new people that are searching for answers and help. Please keep me and this project in mind. Thanks for all the support this group gives. Mueller IV in Georgia.
Guest guest
The foundation will help with connecting patients with doctors and I hope to get a data base going to help doctors talk with other doctors and pull information from a cenral data point. I hope to have some oranized research started that doctors can all use to help us in the future. This all will tak money so there will be a need for fundraisers and donations. I already have a place that wants to start some research but they need funds or a grant to start it up. in Georgia From: <mt4mar@...> Subject: Foundation achalasia Date: Wednesday, June 29, 2011, 8:06 PM Hello all I have not been on here for a while.
