Guest guest
Hello, I have just found this forum and joined today. My daughter was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis in november 2008, after about a year of pain and a wrong diagnosis. Unfortunate but understandable ; my daughter has other difficulties which blinkered her consultant. We now have a lovely Consultant Paediatrician and my daughter is now receiving the right treatment. She was admitted to hospital on Christmas Eve for steroid injections to 4 joints which thankfully have worked. There will be much I want to ask, but my immediate concern and question relates to keeping my daughter warm. We live in a house almost impossible to heat adequately with our old boiler, and we cannot get heating to my daughters bedroom without a newer, more modern boiler. I wondered if anyone knew of a possible grant that is available for this? We are not in a position to replace our old one and any advise about grants would be appreciated. Many thanks. Guest guest
I don't know about any grants etc but my daughter swears by her Electric Mattress Pad. It is wonderful. She loved it so much that we now have them on all of our beds and when my inlaws came to visit my motherinlaw fell in love with it to. e From: lynmarlow <thehouseinvader@...> Subject: Keeping warm Date: Wednesday, January 7, 2009, 2:47 AM Hello, I have just found this forum and joined today.
