Guest guest
Here is an interesting letter for those of you who have suffered with allergies. I am reading a book about Enzymes right now, and I am very interested in this subject. I take enzymes myself. Enzymes are what gives life to food, and, life to all of us. Maybe I should take a whole bottle of this amylase stuff and see what happens! Anyway, read for yourself. This letter is from another newsgroup. Just to refresh, quadrazyme has protease, amylase, maltase, sucrase, lipase, cellulase and I think lactase in it. And I took thirty of them one day when having horrific allergies for about a week and after my one day of mega dosing my symptoms were completely gone. But I knew that it was supposed to be the amylase that was the actual enzyme that was effective against allergens and so I ordered amylase from R Garden, because it was the only place I knew to get it. I took about 12 a day, in between meals, for a few days along with just a few quadrazyme with meals, and stayed allergy free and then reduced a little each day to see what the least was I could take and still not have allergies. I found I did fine on 3 a day and then two a day and finally was down to one a day and no allergies at all. Really amazing, with scotch broom in full bloom all around my house. Well, my original exposure to the the information about amylase working for allergies was a story of a person with cat allergies who took a whole bottle of amylase in one sitting and didn't have allergies for over a year after that. So I thought I wonder if I could stop taking it all together and still not have symptoms. So I quit and for three for four days had no symptoms of allergies. Maybe two sneezes in the morning and nothing after that. Then a friend brought over some food that had cheese in it and I was so hungry and I thought well, here is the acid test. Normally I cannot eat dairy at all in the spring without becoming a major mucous factory and having horrific hayfever symtpoms. Itchy eyes, watery eyes, completely blocked sinus', sneezing, etc. So, I was a little aprehensive about eating dairy. I was SO enjoying not having allergies, but I really wanted to test the enzymes and see, first of all, if I had a bad response to the dairy and, second of all, if I did, could I take the enzymes and make it go away. So I was brave and "Ate the Cheese" And the next day I had no negative symptoms at all. So the next day I did flax oil and yogurt, and again, no negative symptoms and then I did it again the next day and still no negative symptoms. And then today, I have a little bit of soreness in one lymph, but still no allergies. To say that I am happy about this is an understatement. It is like a miracle to me. I am amazed and delighted. Now I can run and jump and eat dairy like the other children. Smile. Hope this helps somebody. Donna
