Rain here too, but, at least, the Indy 500 was yesterday and it didn't get

I hope everyone has a great day today and had a great weekend.  I have been

doing all the honey do projects around the house this weekend. Since I dont have

a honey to do them my list never gets done unless I do it.  Last weekend I

learned about roofing my garage. This weekend I used my new radal arm saw and

built shelves, and fixed a couple of other things. I had two full days to just

do stuff. the last time I had a weekend to just do what I needed to get done

was I don't know how long ago.  Working two jobs and being a single parent

with no family nearby, stuff just never gets done.   I may be exhaused after

this weekend but I already feel good about getting things accomplished.  Last

night at 10:30 p.m. Jaye told me I should stop working and take a shower.

She said I smelled bad.

serving or have family members who are serving our nation. Your sacrifices

and commitment to preserving the safety of our nation are appreciated.

I second the THANKS to our veterans and those currently serving this great

country!!! I am grateful for the freedom my grandfather helped preserve in

World War II (Navy), my father fought for in Vietnam (Navy), and my husband's

father who was a POW for 5 years in Vietnam (Air Force pilot, shot down and held

captive in the same building in Hanoi as McCain), are remembered this weekend

and always for their service.

Our little ones road their decorated tricycles and bikes with training wheels,

in the neighborhood parade and waved to the on- lookers. It was a sweet,

wonderful way to celebrate!!!
