Guest guest
Hi e, I finally got together my list of herbs and supplements that I am taking regulary, since you asked. This list will seem daunting, I know. I encourage you to get a good book on the value of herbs, and perhaps look into this as a treatment form that you can try. I have been pleased with my experiences with herbs, as has my husband. A book I like is called "Holistic Herbal" by Hoffman. Mornings on an empty stomach, I take: One quart ozonated water, followed 20 minutes later by 2 Transfer Factor Plus (you can see info about this on Dr. Kolb's website www.plastikos.com, or do any search on the Internet with these words.) Before or after breakfast, I take these supplements: 1 Betaine Hydrochloride (HCl Plus) 1 Inositol (500 mg) 1 DHEA with MexiYam (25 mg) 1 selenium (200 mcg) 1 Folic Acid (800 mcg) 2 Vitamin E (400 IU each) 1 Egoloid Mesylates 1 Methylcobalamin (Vit B12, 1000 mcg) 1 5-Hydroxy-Tryptophan 2 AIM Prepzymes 1 Bromelain (1000 mg) Just added alpha lipoic acid, (100 mg) Between meals, I take: 1 Biotin, 5 mg (to fight yeast) Acidophilus (to fight yeast) I take these supplements three times a day with meals: 2 Vitamin C (500 mg each) 1 Molybdenum (250 mcg each) 3 Caprylic Acid (for a total of 3, 245 mg daily) to fight yeast And finally, I take these herbs 3 X a day with meals: 1 Milk Thistle (for liver) 2 Dong Quai (for hormone balancing) 2 Damiana (for hormone balancing) 1 Grape Seed Extract (anti-oxidant) 3 Licorice (adrenal function) 3 Siberian Ginseng (adrenal function) 2 Ginger Root (anti-inflammatory) 1 Gingko Biloba (brain function) 2 Olive Leaf Extract (anti-viral) 2 Wild Yam (breast health) 2 Fennel (breast health) 2 Saw Palmetto Berries (breast health) 3 Fenugreek (breast health) There's others that I have taken for various other problems, such as kidney infections or cystitis. For kidney health, I take parsley root, juniper berry, marshmallow root, gravel root, Uva Ursi, Ginger root, and Goldenseal, sometimes in a tea, often in pills. (Dr. 's line has some good herb blends). I have also taken calcium/magnesium, CoQ10, P5P, which is a highly absorbable form of B6, B complex, pantothenic acid, zinc, manganese, Vitamin D, and so much other junk that I finally just got sick of it all and stopped for awhile! I think I stopped for about 4 months or so. I do still get sick of taking pills, but I also think they have helped tremendously in the last few months, since adding the herbs.
