Guest guest
Aundrea had blood work taken to determine if she had food intolerances. The test is called an ALCAT test and it is used to see how your body reacts to food and chemicals. A blood test is taken and the test is designed to electronically measure changes in cell size and volume when your blood is incubated with the test substances. They plot on a graph the results of the exposed blood to the substances against your blood which is treated identically but without any substance introduced. The degree of difference in cell size and volume determines the degree of reactivity to the substance. Aundrea's test results show that she has " Severe Intolerance " to Sugar, Cocoa, egg whites, sweet potatoes, honey, and yeast. She had a mild reaction to cows milk and wheat. The test has been helpful because all other attempts at suggested " diets " were just a shot in the dark. At least now we know what we are dealing with. We are going to eliminate the foods which she has a severe to moderate intolerance of and we are going to limit the foods which she has a mild intolerance of. We are hoping that all of this will have a dramatic impact on her current state of health. She has been having awful episodes of nausea, stomach cramps and joint pain.
