Guest guest
Just looking for some reassurance on this " eve of kineret " - tomorrow we give the first injection. We are planning to do the injection at bedtime. When we started the methotrexate shots we did the first couple in the doctor's office so we could learn how. I'm trying to stay calm about unlikely things like allergic reactions. I do have benadryl and also an epi-pen, and obviously the ability to call 911. Am I being too freaked out? More faith needed, right? I guess I'm just having some post-traumatic stress syndrome. There have been so many scary ups and downs in the past 11 months, including a wicked drug rash from the cipro antiobiotic. Whatever is going to happen will happen - we've already made the decision to try kineret, and I pray to God it helps and doesn't hinder. Have most others here given their first biologics at home? No doctors have mentioned having to do our first one in a doctor's office so tomorrow, at home, is our plan. nn (, 9, systemic)
