With my disc problem last year it wigged out back muscles, so now and then mostly when I have doned my 'SuperGirl' costume for the day, I take Robaxin and lie down to rest. Since then I have had real bad muscle cramps in my upper back,going around the sides and into my ribs . People have to my that I need to drink more water , I drink about 3 liters a day now. I am new to the group, but not new to the SCS. I have had many units. The first was placed in 1993 and the final was placed this year. The last one was removed two weeks after the implant due to a Staph Infection. I was sent home on Valium for the spasms I had post op....they lasted about two weeks post op. Is your MD treating your spasms? Muscle cramps/spasms I had an SCS implant in November . Since then I have had severe muscle spasms in my sides and into my ribs .
