Guest guest
Hey Gretchen, Yes I am trying to relax...anyway hobbies huh...I used to Mountain Bike (but once I moved from Ashevile to Charlotte that kinda of went by the way side - so I sold the bike). What else...I am really wanting to take up wood working - which I have always enjoyed BUT don't know if it will still be possible - I love to cook which my wife really likes too HA HA...I do alot of traveling with my job - LA to Dallas to Canada to Mississippi to wherever. I am planning to surprise my wife this spring with a trip to the west coast to see the Pacific. What else...I love yard work and washing cars and of course there is the activities at my church. We went white water rafting a couple of weeks ago and I would love a Kayak but my wife said no - her words laughingly " You're too uncoordinated. " I guess that is another fear - losing these hobbies and the things that I have always dreamed of doing...and of course working out was another one of my hobbies - that alone really built up my self-esteem. Back to the wood working - my dream was always to build a wooden sail-boat - maybe around 35 to 40 feet - all built by me and then retire to the coast and enjoy the sea - just me and my wife and my third love - WATER!. So those are my fun interest - along with the occassional games of bowling and the idea of fly fising. Anyway, maybe I will still be able to do these things and maybe not. Thanks for the update on the zoomers I will check into buying a pair. Brady --- Gretchen Glick <liliwigg@s yv.com> wrote: > Yes, Brady relax. Guest guest
Brady If you feel up to doing what you want to do - then go for it. If co-ordination is a problem so what? I know a lot of people without CMT who have co-ordination problems so don't blame CMT for it - Sorry. It is fantastic that you've joined this forum and you will learn a lot and some of the postings will frighten you but what you've got to remember is that everyones CMT is different and that the severity of their disease is different from yours. You and your bride get on with your life and enjoy it - don't always read what you find on this site as prevelant to you because it isn't. Live long and prosper and please don't worry - just adjust if you need to. Big hug to you and your wife and welcome Love Sue (in the UK) The important thing is never to stop questioning.
