Update on Emerson ( Hello everyone. sorry it's been a while)

Hello To EVERYONE !

I'm sorry I have been out of it for a little while. I've been extremely busy

between the Dr appoint's and the three kids!!

Anyway this is the latest on Emerson and I have a couple of questions if anyone

can help or offer advice...

We took her to see Dr. he recommended changing her med's from ::::

(Emerson panicked at first on the first flight to Dallas, I gave her some

medicine and she calmed down. We had an awesome trip. Boston was beautiful, so

different from New Orleans ! Our flight home was OK, we caught some bad weather

when we hit La. and then in the last 22 minutes of the flight a little girl

emmie met on the plane got sick all over emmie, me and everyone within 3 rows,

it was horrible. Other than that Emmie didn't want to come home but she missed

her brother and sister)

Enbrel to Remicade once a month

Methotrexate to Cellcept twice a day (He said this is easier on the stomach than

the metho)??

Her eyes looked good but he said the drops will do that.

We seen her Rheumy last Thurs. he said he is willing to do whatever me and

want to do, but his recommendations are to keep her where she is at and

maybe go up on the metho but she is already having GI problems. We go back on

Aug 22nd.

Dr said he is willing to work with our Dr's and our Rheumy said the same

which is good. We haven't seen her optham. yet we go on the 13th.

So my question is any advice??? Has anyone switched from any of the meds and

seen a difference?? Is Cellcept easier on the stomach our Rheumy said it's

harder on the stomach? He said Remicade is made from part rat/mouse and his

concern would be that Emmie would have more side effects from the remicade than

from the enbrel? I am having conflicting stories and we need help??

GI stand point- her GI Dr put her eythromycin 2xday for 30 days, his nurse said

within 48-72 hours we should have seen a difference?? Well she's still

complaining of being nauseated.. So her Dr called me yesterday morning and we

are going to see him Friday, this was our first week with no appt's since May

and that's changed???

I'm a nervous wreck school starts next week and she will be around kids again.

There's a really bad stomach virus going around here and I pray we don't get it.

She had a rough Kindergarten year, I just pray she will have a good 1st grade !!

I'm so confused on what to do, I knew this was going to happen.  Any help or

advice I would greatly appreciate it !!

Also, to everyone who needs prayers ya'll are in our prayers always. I know I

can't write back to everyone.
