Another grandson needs your prayers

My grandson fell off the monkey bars at about 4:00 this

afternoon...........I just arrived home from the hospital, he broke his left

arm, he is scheduled

to have surgery at some point tomorrow to set it............ (my

daughter, his mom) is very worried,even though she grew up having a sister with

an

awful disease and many fractures (holly has had 8) none were as severe as

this. So please keep them in your prayers for the next few days and I will post

more as I know more. thanks guys!!!

Thanks Diane.............I know he will be better after it is

set.........its just hard watching another little one suffer. I mean I know the

drill I get

We will keep your grandson in our prayers!

My daughter Maggie who is ten has Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Brittle Bone

Disease), she has had over 100 fractures and they always feel much better after

the bone is set and the break is stable and casted. It doesn't make it any

easier on you or your daughter right now, or your grandson, but I hope this

helps ease your mind just a little bit!!

When your kids hurt you hurt. Double whammy that just doesn't seem fair!

n, Your daughter and grandson, will be in my thoughts and prayers. My

daughter broke her arm a few years ago, on the playground as well. Except

someone was pulling her around the playground in a little red wagon, and it

tipped over. She put her arm down to brace herself, and it broke. She too

had to have the surgery, had 2 pins put in her arm as well. When those finally

came out, they were able to put a regular cast on. I was a nervous wreck at

the time, since my husband was deployed with the Navy....... I know exactly what

she is going through!

Hi all............just wanted to let you know that the surgery went well, he

has 2 pins and big splint for now.......we were concerned with his iv all

day, it was very positional as to when it wanted to work.........he also didn't

go to the bathroom from 10 last night until 6 tonight, they were getting

ready to straight cath him....I told him at that point he had no choice, i was

picking him up and bringing him to the bathroom, and he needed to

try............and he went, yeah!!! But he is still in the hospital with

quite a bit of

pain, so will be staying another night........keep him in your prayers and I

will post more tomorrow.........Thanks for all your prayers bringing him

thru surgery!!!
