Unfortunately it seems to me you

need a big name to get media attention and hit up big corporations to make

donations. My take on this is that there are no real celebrities who have

brought JA to the forefront. As I recall, Tyler did a lot to bring

awareness of Juvenile Diabetes. It seems to me with arthritis, most people

think it is an old person’s disease, and if they make donations for that

cause, they go to the Arthritis Foundation which may or may not use the money

for research for JA. I think donating to places like St Jude, which is a

research hospital for diseases that affect children, is good as is the

Mc house as you know it goes to help families with kids. Personally, I

think we need to keep spreading awareness whenever we can. We should think of

ways to do this here in the group perhaps. Michele ( 20, spondy)

I am getting them also Robbin and not sure what's going on there. I

have a question too. I think I will post as well and see what responses I get

if any. I just entered a Fisher Price Family Sweepstakes and if you win you get

a $100 and a $100 goes to a charity that they give you a list to choose from.

There is one for Juvenile Diabetes and there are commercials for this, why

isn't there anything like this for our kids? I chose The Mc House

for ours if we happen to win. What has to be done to get this done so we can

get the funding and publicity we need for our kids? All the causes listed were

great causes, but it really ticks me off that our kids get nothing.

Question (SPAM)

Just wondering if anyone else is getting

email with the Subject being (SPAM) JRA with different subjects on it? I DO NOT

open these. Not sure why this is in the Email Subject though
