G'day,

This I type from my own computer, in my own home in Australia.

After an incredibly trying 2 days, we are safely back in Newcastle,

with a tired and tantrummy little boy, and a sore back to show for it.

But we are home!

Our flight finally left at about 2.20am LA time on Tuesday morning,

and we touched down in Sydney at 9.09am Wednesday. We then drove home.

Now, while I was in the US, I kept going to get in the driver's side

there (your passenger side), but I immediately went to the American

passenger's side of the car when we got here (our driver's seat), and

my friend who was collecting us from the airport, just looked at me

and laughed.

And you know, it was so weird to hear all the Aussie accents on the

plane coming home! I think I attuned my ears to yankee and southern

accents. LOL

Will type more tomorrow, including the dramas at airports, tonight I

just want to settle down and sleep.
