Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm sorry I have not had a chance to update sooner. Unfortunately, Caroline remains in the hospital ( I talked to Alia yesterday after the surgery, in addition to getting tubes, having her sinus' tapped and getting the steroid injections into her eyes, Caroline also ended up getting her adanoids taken out. She had a tough time waking up aferwards and needed oxygen for while. They were hoping to only have to stay in the hosptial for one night, but Caroline is unable to eat or drink anything and is in a great deal of pain. She was on morphine, which they have restarted again today. She has also started to run a slight fever. Alia sounds tired, I told her I would post an update to the list. please pray that things turn around for sweet Caroline and she can come home soon. hugs Helen and (9,systemic)

Guest guest
Helen, Thank you for giving us the update. Please share with Alia that we are praying for her and Caroline. Sounds like Caroline basically went through a war. No wonder she is hurting so badly. I'm sure Alia is exhausted emotionally and physically. Hopefully, they will both get home soon and get some rest. Guest guest
Thanks you everyone for thinking of us. Our doctor just woke me before his early morning surgery so I thought I would sneak away before the girl woke up. Thanks Helen for posting for us. As Helen said, it has been rough for Miss C. Her tonsillectomy and adnoidectemoy are taking quite a toll. She hasn't eaten or drank since Sunday evening and they won't release her until she does. She did manage one sip of water last night so there is some hope!!! Her eye is quite swollen and very red. He nicked a little blood vessel (very common) so her eye is all bloodshot too  Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers. We hope to leave today, so I will keep you updated.  Alia and Caroline, age 5, poly and uveitis Re: Update On Caroline.
