I have never wanted a tatoo, but . . .

When I was in high school a classmate and I went to the beach (Rockaway for those interested) with my friend's brother who was on leave from the Navy.

He had the strangest tatoo I had ever seen: a bird pulling a worm out of his navel. I thought it would be a huge turn-off for the girl, but instead he had them stopping him all day long. show's you how much i knew about women back in the 50's. Hasn't changed much since.

From California where tatoos are for Navy guys and body art is for the Marine Corpse.

You should see the body art/ & or tattoos I see on some of my veterans I

see for hepatitis C. Most got them & likely the virus, years ago in Viet Nam

It amazes me how anyone can sit still that

long & then get antsy when clinic is running a little slow for the day!!

Thank goodness there are reputable tattoo

parlors now that only use needles once per person & ink only for that one

person.

Hi All,

Just got to thinking about TATOOS..... lololol Thinking Deeper with a Laugh. lololol.

Most have a Tatoo on us somewhere. Either by Scar or Birthmark right? Ok Tatoos have to have COLOR. lololol.

My Brother got me to thinking about Scars as a Tatoo as he was telling me this morning about when he was a Kid and His Sling Shot.

As Most know I have 3 Brothers. lolol. Younger than me. He said you remember when I decided to get Hugh? I said no what happened. He said They were all seeing how far they could get a Rock. lolololol. Well this Brother seen a Piece of Glass and said Well if a Rock can go that far lets see how far this glass can go. As he said he was just a kid lolololol. He hollered at the Brother Hugo as we call him. Ralphie is the one doing the thinking about glass. lololol. Well Ralphie hollered at Hugh and said Bet mine will go farther. Remember KIDS doing this. lolol. He shot it and results were......... That glass sliced his wrist wide open .

He holler at Hugo and said OUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH that's not good. Blood was pouring out. Hugo looked and said well I see the bone. He ran inside to get a rag. Mom was wondering what had happened and she handed them some gauze and alcohol lolol with Peroxide Well he healed.

As he told that to me I thought ok You have a nice Tatoo of those days lololol. He said no that is a War tatoo as it was gotten in a War of Glass lolol.

Ok I thought it was funny as he told me as these Brothers of mine were ROUGH kids. My baby brother carrys his War tatoo in his neck. As these boys would shoot each other with their BB buns and the Baby brother got hit in the neck which the BB is still inside the neck today.

I looked and said Well this scar Tatoo was gotten cause I wasn't looking and ran right into a Faucet in the front yard and it cut the leg from here to here. lololol. He seen the other thigh. He asked me where did that one come from lolol. I said well I was laying Carpet and using a Straight edged razor and It just missed the Carpet and Sliced my leg lololol. So that was a Remodeling Tatoo with a Lesson lololol. On my knee I have a

Scar on he asked what about that. I said well That was due to me Jumping off the Top bunk bed lolol. Ended with me in the ER and the Dr had to drain the knee and put a tube in it lolol. So that is another War Tatoo with a big lesson lolol. We looked more and spotted my wrist lololol. He said what happened there. I said well after Appendix Surgery I carried a 6 pack of cokes up the steps and I fell and broke the bottles 1 piece caught me in the wrist lololol. He said oh so you got into a fight with a glass coke bottle. lololol

I said well I got some under my hair but those were from Our Sister hit me with a glass bowl and busted my head lolol. Then a boy down the street thought since I didn't like him but he liked me he would get me back and threw a rock and hit me in the head and busted it again lololol. He was funny when he said well dang you been through war times too lolol. But you made it lolol. I said yes but what I wonder about is HOW we survived lololol. We wear them proudly.

Life Tatoos Not colorful but look fair lolol. Real Tatoos really look good if it is the right one.
