Guest guest
Here are some suggestions for herbs and supplements that have helped me, and which are recommended for candida suspected problems. These are all available at the health food store, and you shouldn't have any trouble finding them. The key is to stick with these! You need to get on a regular schedule and stick with the dosages like clockwork. I am taking my herbs 3 times a day regularly, (which I have failed to do in the past.) Remember, with Candida, as you fight it, you will experience die-off symptoms before you get better. I do think this is an issue for us, and I think that all of these supplements are important. Patty Pau D'Arco tea--can drink this by the quart for help with candida symptoms. Gingko biloba--to help blood circulation to the brain Siberian Ginseng--for adrenal support and help adapt to stress (it is an adaptogen) Milk Thistle--the most important herb for support to the liver 5-HTP--(5-Hydroxy L-Tryptophan )--the immediate precursor to serotonin, which helps with mood and sleep patterns. I used St. 's Wort some time ago, but I can't say if it helped or not. Caprylic Acid--to help fight candida fungus Grapefruit Seed Extract (liquid used as drops)--to help fight candida and other pathogens Molybdenum (250 mcg twice a day or more)--to help neutralize the toxins given off by candida and other sulpher foods Pro-biotics (acidophilus, Lacto-bifidus, as well as other soil based organisms)--to establish a healthy flora of good bacteria in the gut instead of letting candida proliferate Digestive enzymes (after every meal with cooked food)--to ensure your foods have the proper enzymes to break down your foods so that you don't have huge food particles entering your bloodstream through a "leaky gut" B12 shots or sublingual tablets, either cyanocobalamin, or methyl cobalamin (at least 1000 mg a day)--to help alleviate neurological signs and symptoms, which a deficiency can cause Folic Acid (800 mcg day)--works in conjunction with B12
