Guest guest
Colleen: I disagree with you. You are a creative poet! I can't wait to show this to Hannah. Sending prayers & happy thoughts, Beth :-) Go Away Arthur! - a poem Hi- Just wanted to share a little poem I wrote for our walk team web-site. The reference to princesses is because of our name - Princess Parade. I'm the first to admit I am no poet GO AWAY ARTHUR! Arthur, you stinker, you taker of joy You loser, you meanie, who hurts girls and boys We've decided, we princesses, that your time here is through! Pack your things and get out, we want rid of you Take your needles and blood tests your swelling and pain Grab your insomnia, your moods, your prednsione weight gain Don't forget the IV's X-rays, tests and therapy Keep the ulcers, med side effects, and replacements for knees Take your danger to vision, skin problems and strife Remove the dark clouds that threaten long life We won't need orthotics, splint, crutch or wheelchair Goodbye brittle bones and falling out hair Take your hot puffy joints, that cause so much sorrow Leave only the health and promise of tomorrow And though you can't return the childhood you've stolen We'll take a bright future without joints that are swollen Stay away from the promise of all we'll be able to do Hit the road, Arthur! Good riddance to you! Best hopes to all- Colleen (mom to Caitlin, 8) ------------ --------- --------- --- Cheap Talk? Check out Messenger's low PC-to-Phone call rates. Guest guest
Colleen, This is a great poem. I printed it out to give to Aundrea. I think she plans to share it with her teacher and homebound tutor. You did a great job! You should submit it to the " kids get arthitis to publication " . sonia (aundrea 11 systemic jra/gerd) > That is great Colleen!
