Guest guest
Hi : Mike talked to my sister & brother-in-law this morning. He stopped breathing Thursday night and was put on a ventilator. This morning he was breathing about 90% on his own. They won't know the extent of the damage from the stroke for another 3 or 4 days. Thanks for thinking of us. Sending prayers & happy thoughts, Beth :-) Re: OT: Urgent prayer request Beth, Just checking in. Has Tom had any improvement? Been thinking of you guys and praying for Tom and his family. sonia (drea 11 systemic jra/gerd) Hi everyone: > > I have gotten a couple of calls from my mom today. My sister's father-in-law had prostrate surgery yesterday. This morning he had a heart attack followed by a stroke and then a seizure. Obviously he is not doing very well. He has been transferred to a local heart hospital, which I understand is a very highly regarded hospital. > > Please keep my sister and her family in your prayers. His name is Tom and we know him very well. He is one of the most generous men I have ever met. > > Sending prayers & happy thoughts, > Beth :-) > >
Guest guest
Hi Beth, I hope things have improved for Tom over the weekend. How have you and Hannah been doing? Getting back into the routine of school? I hope that all is well and that Hannah's cough went away! Guest guest
Tom is about the same. Hannah's cough did go away, however was promptly replaced by yet another round of migraines. Hannah cannot tolerate Imitrex and I don't know if any of the other migraine meds are approved for kids. I feel so bad for her you can just tell from looking at her that it hurts :-( She came home from school Thursday after falling asleep in the nurse's office for over an hour and then slept another 45 minutes at home. Had the " hangover migraine " headeach on Friday. Felt great on Saturday and it hit her again last night....Have a call into the ped as I type this. How is lovely Miss Drea doing....her pictures are gorgeous! I think she'll be breaking a few hearts. Sending prayers & happy thoughts, Beth :-) Re: OT: Urgent prayer request > > Beth, > > Just checking in. Has Tom had any improvement?
