dry skin or something else

I have been wondering about something lately. Elaney has always had dry

skin. As an infant she would get dry ,scaly patches on her legs. The

pediatrician recommended fewer baths and mild soap. We would also

slather on the lotion. She gets dry itchy skin all the time. It is

worse in the winter. This all sounds like just " normal " dry skin.

However, she will itch it then by the next day it has a huge black scab

on it. She doesn't scratch until it bleeds. It seems like she just

scratches lightly then the huge black scab comes. It is like her skin

is super sensitive. It seems worse right around her mouth.------When I

was looking into the lung nodules issue I kept hearing about possible

skin problems.----------Maybe I am just paranoid. Lots of bad things

have happened lately. So, I just thought I would throw out this problem

and see what you all think. If you think I am going nuts just say so.---
