Belle's sleeping ... STILL

I'm trying very hard to think rational through this crisis but its

becoming increasing harder day by day , hour by hour.. Belle's body

is trying to recover from last weeks flare and since this flare was the

beginning of her hot swollen joints I realize this one will probably

take a little longer to recuperate from. She went to bed on Saturday and

woke up 41 hours later ( I did wake her so that she would drink a bit

every few hours ) but she can't seem to stay awake for more that an hour

or two at best. She has no fever ( actually its low at 79.1 ) no rash

anymore , no swelling, not much pain but she cant stay awake . I made a

DR appointment yesterday with her GP and then cancelled it when it

looked like she was feeling better. She got up and showered , ate a

sandwich and drank a juice box. By 4:00 PM she was back laying on the

couch and sleeping. She slept until 6:30 AM today , and I made her go

take a shower and see how she felt about school , after taking a look at

her there is no way I could send her in . She's pale with those

" sick eye's " and still SO very lethargic. I have called the

Rheumy office but the new nurse is really of no help , no comforting

words nothing ! She says to take her to the GP if " I feel like she needs

to be seen but that this might be Belles new normal " . I m waiting for a

call from the GP office to see what he thinks I should do . Guy's I

just need some comforting words right now , Im doing all I can do to

take care of her but it doesn't seem like enough ....
