Guest guest
I am a nervous wreak... On Wednesday I will be speaking at the annual Commitment to a Cure breakfast that the Arthritis foundation puts on. I was asked back in June if I would be willing to share Nicks story at the breakfast and said yes. This is TOTALLY out of my comfort zone, but something i felt strongly about. Theres not a lot I can do to fight this disease, but speaking out and raising awareness is something we can all do. At least my fmaily will eat well today because of my nervous engery. I have been up since 4am. The sausage is ready to make grits and eggs for breakfast ( one of Nicks favorites ) I have pork ready to make snitzels for lunch and a crock pot is simmering away with a beef stew in for supper, oh yea and theres bread raising to make home made bread rolls to go with the stew. I hope I can hold it together and not become a blubbering fool up there. is also speaking, just a short piece but he is so pumped up about it. He practices by moving the otterman in front of the TV, climbing up with his piece of paper and making everyone watch him. It's too cute. Wish me luck..... hugs Helen and (9,systemic)
