Guest guest
To everyone that knows Tree, here is an update. She moved back into her house last Saturday. If you remember, she had some cousins who decided to redo her home for her and make it wheelchair accessible. It was finally completed and Tree had to stay at her mom's house the last 3 months, waiting for it to be finished. When she moved back in last week, she was amazed at how accessible it is! Also, with the new equipment she had and wide doorways, she can get herself up and down and around the house! She has made amazing progress just in the last week in the new environment! She said that she feels like she has gotten some of her life back! She can now stay by herself once again while hubby is at work and Matt is at school. She is really looking forward to Christmas. I thought you all would enjoy this update. I have been so excited for her and happy for her upon hearing this wonderful news. and Rob 17 Spondy
Guest guest
, That is the best news ever! What a blessing her cousin has been to her to do the extreme makeover to her home. You know our church went on a blessing hunt last night. It was our first one. we all split into teams and had bags of random gifts and went into the commuity with assignments to bless strangers and people that we knew. For instance one of the ones I did was to go to the grocery store. Buy a rose and then had it to the checker and wish her a Merry Christmas and give her the rose. I chose a younger girl that was at the end of her shift and not feeling to well. She looked at me like I was from space when I gave her the rose. :-) It was fun. Some other things on our hunt was to buy ice-cream and deliver it to the fire station. (no one was at the fire station so we went to two homes with elderly people and sang a carol and gave it to them...they loved it) we had a bouncy ball to give to a 5 year old boy and mittens to give to a girl, and tiaras to give to whoever we thought should be a princess etc... No matter how small the blessing its a reminder of how good it is to be able to bless others, even those we don't know! :-) P.S. One of the small kids in our group ran up to the bell ringer in from of the grocery store and handed her a candy cane. lol (aundrea 11 systemic jra/gerd)- -- In , snooksmama@... wrote: > > To everyone that knows Tree, here is an update. > She moved back into her house last Saturday.
