Hello everyone,

I just wanted to take a minute to say hello. I haven't been

visiting very often because has been doing so well, and I've

gotten busy with other things. I want you all to know that I am

still keeping everyone in my thoughts, even if I'm not around much.

went to see Dr. Mason yesterday and he has declared him to be

in a remission!! He's been off the mtx for six months now without

any relapse. We are going to take him off his NSAID now as well. We

should know within a week or two how he will respond to the removal

of his last medication. Please keep you fingers crossed. Our Rheumy

says he has a 90% chance staying in remission.

Of course, we are hoping that he really has outgrown it, but we

realise that there is still a chance that he'll relapse at some

point. I know that some kids do go into a remission during puberty

and he is almost at that age.... I suppose all we can do is hope for

the best and enjoy it for as long as it lasts.

Hugs to everyone!

Blessings,

& (12 - poly - in remission!)
