Guest guest
-, cool news about Rob. at least the university is only 2 hours away instead of 20...but still I know what you mean about the sadness. is just a freshman in highschool this year and sometimes the thought of him going off to college in a few years completely rattles me! How have you been feeling? Are you knees doing any better? Things going ok for Rob healthwise? Guest guest
Way to go Rob!!!! You must be so proud . Hard to believe he's off to college already. I hope that all goes well for him. The empty nest is hard, but I have learned that quite often they do fly back, and most often with a TON of laundry!! I'll keep my fingers crossed and throw a prayer out that some money comes his way. Guest guest
Hi : Congrats on Rob's acceptance to IUPUI. Two hours isn't to bad, close enough to get home if needed fairly quickly and far enough to give him a chance to be independent. However, I understand all your concerns, etc. about his being away from home for the first time. Alyssa is going to start applying soon, we are sending out for information now. I CAN'T imagine her going away to college, but I know she has VA on the top of her list................old and dear friends are there, etc. That will be 10+ hours away, unless you drive like me and make it in 8. Time will tell. You will have to fill me in on all the college prep etc. Have you heard from voc rehab about some college money? I hope he gets some help in that department. Some of these schools are ridiculously expensive. Take care. Patty
