Guest guest
Hi everyone. Hope you all had a great turkey day. We spent most of black Friday, most of today and have to go back tomorrow to the hospital. He is getting a solumedrol push, and it is easier if we just keep the catheter in so they don't have to keep pricking him. Chase is having a MAJOR flare with his eyes and joints. His rheumy put him back on Methotrexate (oral) and his gastroenterologist thinks that because Chase is having a flare, and it has only been two weeks since his last Remicade infusion, that he is developing possible antibodies with it. So we will have to let the rheumy know when we go on Monday. We go back to dr.fosters this week. We have been to the local opthamologist 4 times in the last two weeks, and when we called dr. fosters office to update him on Chase, he stressed that he wants to see chase. His tonsil/adnoid surgery will be December 27th. The only thing I am worried about is that his meds cause excessive bleeding so we may need to stop them for a week. I am just worried about all of this starting back up if we are able to get it under control by then. My husband has also been put on the alternate list for deployment to Afghanistan for a year. We will find out more next weekend whether he needs to go or not. Will it ever end?! On a good note, I received a phone call from Make A Wish and they are sending out volunteers within the next 3 weeks to talk to Chase about his wish. Our kids all deserve a break like this. Take care. God Bless all of you. --------------------------------- Cheap Talk? Check out Messenger's low PC-to-Phone call rates.
