Rob's schools did not receive any federal funding and were private, religious schools. We were very fortunate to have the accommodations; in fact, they went above and beyond! Which is the reason he went there. The closest public school in this area didn't provide near the support that Rob received in his private school. In fact, at one of the IEP meetings, a county person tried to bully us into sending Rob there. The resource person from his high school ended up reporting her. She told us a lot of things that were untrue. One being that if he didn't attend a public school, he couldn't get accommodations for the ACT and SAT. Which was an outright lie.
