Guest guest
Ok, what is a JRA fact sheet. I called the school today to talk to 's teacher. She is supposed to be scheduling an IEP and I want all of 's teachers to be there. The seventh grade teachers have " Team Meeting " 2nd hour of every day. That is so they can get together and discuss students or problems or whatever they need in order to keep the communication going between the teachers. Last year, had three IEP's and that is because anytime something changes they have to have another meeting. But last year only the one teacher was there at each IEP. I did not mind so much how it went last year because we were struggling to just get to school for two or three hours a day each day from January through May. This year none of the teachers seem to be aware of 's struggles. I talked with her PE teacher yesterday and she looked at me as though I was nuts when I told her has JRA, a seizure disorder and asthma. She said well is doing fine so far. She did not seem the least bit concerned and did not seem to want to give me more then the two minutes I cornered her. Since is not on her seizure meds now but the EEG showed she still was having seizure activity I am quite concerned that I must educate all the teachers about all her issues and help them know what to look for. This school is more likely to tell me, well keep her home if you have any concerns and just let us know. AS IF THAT WILL HELP GET HER EDUCATION. Anyway, a JRA fact sheet sounds good and I can just add all the stuff for her other areas as well. Veri & Jaye 12 poly
