Guest guest
Thanks ...that is good to know. The only reason I asked is that my pediatrician also was not familiar with a muscle MRI and asked about the biopsy. Hoped someone would know. snooksmama@... wrote: Beth: I am not very familiar with a 'muscle MRI' but I do know that a muscle biopsy is painful, and invasive and carries risk of infection. If a muscle MRI would give some info, that would be the better choice rather than an invasive procedure. ; I am so glad that Drea is feeling much better this week. It takes a while for those meds to kick in, but thank goodness they are!! I know that I got off schedule with my meds the first part of August, and this week I have finally started feeling lots better. I have to stick to my schedule or I'm lost! I hope that continues to improve daily. Take care. (adult onset RA) and Rob 17 Spondy Beth Yohnk Happy Thoughts..Be Well
Guest guest
Hi : I think the photos should still on the main page when you click on the photo tab. If not her album is called Hannah (Beth's daughter) and they should be there too. Beyond that, I don't know what else to tell you. Hannah was much improved this morning. Her peak flow still is not great, but she is out of the red zone. She wanted to to go to school today, so I sent her with restrictions. I work within 5 minutes of school if something happens today. How is Rob doing? How are your feeling? Beth (Hannah, 10, unspecified arthritis; asthma (somewhat better today); gerd; migraines) Sending prayers & happy thoughts, Beth :-) Beth and Beth: Sorry I'm posting to both of you at once, but I am still having trouble with Juno and . Ugh! Anyway, tell me how to get to Hannah's pictures. I went to the photo page but couldn't figure out where they were. I hope that she is feeling better after the asthma attack. I know with Rob, an attack would wipe him out for a few days. We hated the pred burst but as our doctor always said, better to be on it a few days at home than on massive doses in the hospital. : I'm so glad that you updated on Drea. I'd been wondering how she was doing. I hope that she continues to feel well. I know that you will be on pins and needles the next few weeks while the rest of the MTX goes out of her system. I know that you'll keep us posted! When does she go back to the rheumy (either one)?? and Rob 17 Spondy Hi : You must have been reading my mind. I was going send you e-mail to check Drea. I figured no news was good news. I'm going to pray really hard that things continue to be stable for her. I hope she a great time with her aunt & cousins. Your right, she was having a blast. Although I must say when she is on stage that smile never leaves her face. Hannah's joints continue to be fairly stable. Her knees seem to be her biggest complaint. Stairs are killer for her. She also had an asthma attack this morning. I'm thanking God that she came out of relatively quickly and were able to hold off to go the to ped (we were there at 8:30 this am.) and did not end up in the ER. He put her on a 12 day taper of pred starting with 40mg for 5 days and tapering by 10mg every three days thereafter. Obviously I kept her home today and may tomorrow just to be overprotective. Update me when you get the labs, I'm curious what they say.
