Guest guest
Hello all: I just got the report from the visual inspection of my implants by Dr. Blais in Canada. He said they were older expected for a 1988 implantation. They were probably very early versions of prototype items. He also states gel core double lumen implants do not injure in the same way as conventional silicone gel-filled implants - they have more problems, including some of the risks of saline inflatables. He also says platinum catalysts were definitively used in my implants. Production records exist to that effect. And, he says, they release platinum derivatives. Dr. Blais is waiting for my instructions before performing any other tests. I will go with the Provisional Report ($250-550) because I have definitive ID in medical records. Platinum is a heavy metal - I don't understand why it would be used in implants. Is there anyone else out there with these same type of implants (Surgitek SCL round bi-lumen incorporating a Quin-Seal valve)? Anyone else with the platinum? On top of this, my husband lost his job on 2/16 and we're moving to the other side of the state the 1st of April. I had given my notice at work because I'm just too tired to keep going - but I've extended my work time till the end of March. And, I'm trying to work as many hours as I can (I can work full-time as far as my boss is concerned). Pray for me, please - I'm stressed to the max & really not feeling well at all. My right arm aches all the time. Shoulder to wrist - joints - as well as some of the muscles in between. And, it travels up my neck into my head. I have had more headaches this past week than I've had my entire life (I'm 46). I'm not doing well ... but right now that doesn't matter. Well, my arm hurts so I'm getting off here. I don't get on my email at home much lately - please feel free to email me privately at: peggy_eckl@... for the next few weeks. hugs to all, peg _________________________________________________________
