Guest guest
Neat!! Good luck with tomorrow's appointments. Liz _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Beth Yohnk Sent: Wednesday, June 14, 2006 9:30 PM Subject: OT-HAVE TO SHARE Hi everyone: Have to share something really special that happened to Hannah today. She and I went to watch her team's softball game tonight. She got to play a whole 2 games this season before her injury happened 6 weeks ago. After the game the coaches always gather the girls together for a brief meeting. They ask them how the game went, what did they do really well and what can they do better next time. They then award a game ball to one of the girls, making sure each girl gets one ball. Well when they got to game ball, the coach pulls out a large gift bag and hands it Hannah. The whole team contributed towards gifts for her. The girls get so excited when she is healthy enough to come and watch the game and everyone wants to sit by her on the bench. They all signed her cast. They gave her a hit away (which she will use to practice hitting); a softball signed by the whole team and a Target gift card. Hannah was speechless, dad already knew (he's one of the coaches) and mom had tears in her eyes. This was too cool not to share. We will update tomorrow after the ortho appt and the first immunology appt. Wish us luck! Beth Yohnk Happy Thoughts..Be Well

Guest guest
: We live in Wisconsin, about 20 miles west of Milwaukee. If Elaney would ever like to correspond with Hannah, she would love it. She can send it to my personal e-mail and put Hannah in the subject line. Pickering <rebpick1artist@...> wrote: Yeah for Hannah!!!!!!!! So glad you shared this w/ us! Guest guest
Good luck on the appointments and as a softball coach myself, I love to hear stories of coaches who take the time to make sure that all the girls have a positive experience, not just the " star " players. What a great surprise for Hannah!
