That is great -- I was actually thinking of giving this Conference a miss this

year -- But I think I am reconsidering!! (Ya know I am so busy with a Seniorthis

year and School Bard duties!!) Can't wait to hear your complete story -- That

is what makes it all worth coming is hearing the stories!

Guin: My story is pretty boring so don't make the trip on my account. I'm

feeling great, much to my cardio's surprise with EF of 26 (in addition to

v-tach, I have sarcoid heart and lungs, CHF and non-ischemic dilated

cardiomyopathy). I'm doing some serious weightlifting and riding an exercise

bike 3 times per week. I'll know more on April 16 after interrogation. If

it wasn't for all the meds I take and the occasional bouts of dizziness (due

to low blood pressure, primarily), I wouldn't know that there was anything

wrong with me.

ita: Good luck with the ablation. Since you're in Ohio, you might want

to consider coming to the conference in October. As Guin noted, listening to

the stories and meeting others in similar situations is very worthwhile.

Glad to know about the conference -- yes, we would actually be pretty close. I'll look forward to hearing more about it as you get details. And congrats on being invited to tell your story! That's great!

Feel free to go ahead and give my email addy out to your

co-worker. Would love to talk to her g-d about her experiences.

I asked her today if her Granddaughter would be interested in

'talking' to you.... she said 'Oh yes!',

and will mention it to her tonight. So tomorrow I will give her

your e-mail addy. G.D.'s name is ,

so if you hear from her, that is who is she.

I have been thinking of you and your mom recently and stopped by your

webpage to check up on you. I was worried to see it has not been

updated lately.

I hope everything is going ok, drop us a note when you get a free

moment. Know we are thinking of you and your mom and holding you close

in our prayers.

Everything is going ok. Finished up this semester with a 3.2 I was a little

disapointed by that but I will get over it eventually, I worked really hard

unfortunately a 3.2 is all I could manage... My mom is doing pretty good she is

doing way better then they expected, she finished her second round of

chemotherapy and she is still doing really well, tired and crappy feeling but

she is alive and surviving so that is what really matters we find out June 12th

if the cancer has shrunk (we found out on the last scans that the radiation

didn't work, if the chemo hasn't worked then hospice is all that is left as an

option). As for me I am doing pretty good.. I had the nerve conducting study

(for the numbness and tingling in feet which has progressed up my legs) done

which showed nothing significant so my rheumy sent me to a neurologist who is

now making me get a brain and spine MRI (which they have told me will take at

least 3 hours) and an evoked potential test. I'm not positive

what they are testing me for but as long as they figure it out and make it go

away I will be happily content. As for the arthritis stuff I am doing actually

quite good. I'm not saying anything because I don't want to jinx it but its been

good no big flares or anything. And I got a membership at a YMCA and have been

exercising everyday. Currently just trying to stay healthy try to look forward

to going to San Francisco State Next Semester and spend as much time with my mom

as I can. All things considered its going ok. So that is all thats going on.

Thanks for the update. Believe me 3.2 is great! That takes a lot of hard

work to keep that kind of average and with all the stress you are going

through to keep it that high is wonderful. I am sorry about your mom - I

hope you have good news on the 12th. I'll keep praying for it. I'm glad

you're feeling well arthritis-wise and I hope that they can give you

some kind of relief with the other stuff. Hugs, Michele ( 19,

spondy)

,

A 3.2 with all that's been going on is amazing, but I expect

nothing less from you. ;0) I'm glad things are going well for you on

the arthritis front and I hope that they get that tingling thing

figured out soon. Enjoy your summer!
