Guest guest
One of the most important things we can do for our kids is to get them to express how they feel and what they need. Kids often feel insecure about sharing what they write and as moms we must encourage them. Tell she did good. veri

Guest guest
Robbin, please thank for me. I love poetry. I too write it myself. It's so powerful because it's so personal, and this one gives we parents an insight into what our kids are going through. So please, thank your brave beautiful daughter for sharing herself with us! Guest guest
s words touched my heart. Part of my daughters IEP at school was to communicate to her classmates about her condition. She fought it last year, and I supported her. She wasn't ready. This year she had two assignments that dealt with poetry. She used one of them to talk about what it is like for her to have jia and uveitis. She is only 10, but it was healing for her. s poem inspired me to ask my daughter if it is o.k. if I could share with you all. Can you see what I see? I see spots and wavy lines all around me Can you feel what I feel? I feel a pain in my leg right down to the heel I don’t want to be different I want to be pain free I don’t want to spend my time in a chair, getting medicine through an I.V. I know there are others who have it worse Some days, though, it feels just like a curse I have met others who have what I do I’m not alone They feel the same way, too. a Taunton ~ 10 years old Issadora <FlyfreeIzzie@...> wrote: Great! Guest guest
This is a touching poem, it brought tears to my eyes. When I read this I wondered how much of this would be true of Kaylee if she were old enough to express herself this way. , I feel bad for you and each of these kids that deal with daily pain. I pray that one day there will be a cure for all of you. I want to use this at my next Arthritis Walk Meeting and with some other projects I am working on as well. Thanks for sharing your feelings. It takes a strong and courageous person to do this. and Kaylee, 3 1/2 poly and ???? wrote this Hi All, Wanted to share this. started writing poems. I had asked her a few years ago to write me how she feels. Saturday she said here ma. It's something I wrote. I said cool I gotta read it then. Guest guest
Jan, Yes it does. I always tell the kid's there's 3 words which make my day and it is I LOVE YOU and that's all she would have had to say to me that day.She gave me more than that.
