Guest guest
Jo, Boy that Teacher and that Mom sure know how to put a child down for being their self. If you tell a child he is lets say FAT he feels he is. If you tell a child he is LAZY he will feel that way. It is knocking him down with Negativity. If you tell a child he is stupid that's how he will also feel. It all Negativity and theres no Positive in it at all. It is emotional abuse the way I see it. That is horrible to hear a MOM calls their own child names. It's about like the Mom has to put down the child to make herself feel good that she is bullying someone. That Teacher would have gotten a piece of my mind. If she asked me what did you say> I would tell her she should go back to school if she can't figuire it out. Teacher's should be MADE to take a class on Motivation Passion and Compassion. Some Teacher's WANT to be Teacher's and you have some who just want the pay check. I have had my years dealing with Teachers. One thing about it is they are not God . They can't Judge anyone. They all put their pants on the same way we do. But always remember " " " " What goes over the devils back will come under his belly " " " " " or " What goes around comes around " " Robbin
Guest guest
36 seems like such a long time ago for me. Even though it has been only 6 years ago so much has happened in those 6 years I feel it was nearly a lifetime ago. Veri
Guest guest
Oh my gosh Jo what a horrible week. That swim center sounds like they have some very uneducated, swim instructors. How pitiful! I hope you can find some other option for aquatic therapy. Things don't seem much better with the preschool. Are they understaffed? Sorry to hear that Bayly has to go back to the hospital. The little guy just can't catch a break... Glad to hear that you got a bit of news regarding the breast cancer concerns...hope the rest of your tests have a positive outcome! Guest guest
Happy Belated Birthday JO! Hope you enjoyed your day. Glad to hear the positive news about your health. I still can't believe how insensitive this swim teacher is - and the really sad thing is, she doesn't even realize or care that what she says hurts. Hugs, Michele (18,spondy) gonna buy me a lottery ticket For those who have been following the saga that is our sucky luck... In brief: Bayly has been booked into hospital for another aspiration and injection as the increased Pred isn't working. The damage is now in his bones. :-( He was involved in yet another accident at Pre School yesyerday- a toy car race-track somehow fell off the table onto his head! The swim centre haven't been apologetic nor shown any interest in keeping our kids in their class, after calling Bayly 'lazy'. AND another mum told us yesterday that the same centre (and sounds like same teacher) said her son " swims ok for a FAT kid! " But at least it looks like I don't have Breast Cancer! More tests possibly when I see Specialist next week. Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, (36 on Sunday..eww) Jo Bayly, 3, extended oligo
Guest guest
Thanks Michele and all, Yep now 36 and I said to my sister that I don't feel a day over 40! LOL I had a really lovely day with my mum and one of my big sisters, and Grant and the kids of course. A picnic in the park- with weather too perfect for Autumn... It was all I asked for, and so glad to get it. (Sure beats the airhorns that Grant gave me one year!! Oh I wish I were kidding!) I see the Breast Specialist this Thursday, and may need more tests apparently, to see that there's no abnormal cells, but so far feel a lot more positive about this. There's something going on, but hopefully not of a cancerous kind. Jo > > Happy Belated Birthday JO! Hope you enjoyed your day. Glad to hear the > positive news about your health.
