As you know my best friend found out yesterday that her mom had pancreatic

cancer.. I am now facing a similar situation with my mom.. for the last few

months my mom has been having what she believed to be migranes and weakness on

her right side.. in the last few weeks it has gotten worse but she basically

just blew it off as nothing.. yesterday it continued to progress to the point

she was in so much pain that she went to the ER they admitted her this morning

into the ICU.. the CT scan showed swelling in the left part of her brain and the

doctors believe she has a brain tumor.. this is insane.. my best friend and I

always get teased about doing everything together.. but watching our moms go

through this crap is really not fun.. neither of us want to be going through

this and it sucks.. Please pray for my mom too.. she's only 53

My sisters and I (and my best friend Lynda whose mom was diagnosed with

pancreatic cancer) just got back from the ICU the MRI revealed that she has two

lesions on her brain and the chest xray revealed a lesion in her lung.. the

doctor said it is a high probability that it is cancer they are going to do a

full body scan to see where the cancer originated and then they will determine

what treatment can be done.. its a very scary situation and my two sisters are

both pregnant one 8 months and the other 3 months.. so its just a stressful

situation..

I am behind on posts and my heart dropped when hearing about your

friend's mom, and now yours...I have watched both of my parents fight

their own battles with cancer and I cannot believe that you are asked to

go through this with both your 'moms'. I am so saddened and full of

concern for you and sending you out many, many prayers for you, your

sisters, their precious little ones yet to be born, and of course, your
