Hello Patty, Winter here seems to last forever lol. This year winter started early for us. At least with the extreme cold temps Oct and nov were really cold this year, Not all that uncommon to still be getting snow here in May. We have all ready been down to 20 below a couple times this year. But as of lately it has been very mild here compared to what it is normally. Been in the mid 30's to low 40's for high temps and that is much milder then normal. Janurary is normally one of our coldest months. But as of lately we have been getting more rain then snow here in the Valley. We don't even have snow on the ground here in town anymore and that is far from normal. Our snow usually sticks around all winter long. The coldest I have seen it here since I have lived here is a temp of 25 below zero and a windchill of 55 below zero not all that pleasent when it gets like that. With all the snow that back country has recived this last week we now have high risk warnings out for avalanche's. This is my last winter in Montana I am leaving after this year but don't know where I am going to yet. I just can't deal with the extreme cold anymore. Well I will go for now, this reply got longer got way longer then I had planned lol. I get a typing and just can't seem to stop lol. Until next time, Take care.
