Guest guest
Not to say that I'm upset or disgruntled, but I have to share this tidbit with the group. About 3 weeks ago I was in a car accident, in which I strained my left ankle. It feels much better, and I'm back to doing my everyday activities with only moderate discomfort. However, it has been 3 weeks since I had x-rays taken for the injury (to rule out a fracture)... And JUST got the results. I called my PCP and his nurse was LESS than forthcoming with me. I was told, " you must contact a specialist " I asked for what treatment... She wouldn't tell me. She wouldn't give me my results. I've been living with Arthur for almost 3 decades now... I can handle the results. She finally read to me one word from the results. I have " Osteopenia " in short... After a quick Google search, I learn that I have a VERY Common form of Osteoporosis. (WHAT A SHOCK.... I'm on Fosamax for a reason, HUH) And it's likely cause is Arthritis. But for this I MUST see a specialist. I hope you're all laughing now, smiling, knowing that you've been here before too. Fischer DPA Architects, Inc. pfischer@... Re: OT/Good News ! That's incredible! CONGRATS!!!!!
