Guest guest
Hello, Last year many of you were so helpful when I wrote asking for help with my 9 year old granddaughter who has Pauci JRA. She has been receiving Metheltrexate injections that are very difficult for her to take without vomiting and fear. You offered many wise suggestions for me to use in helping her through a difficult time and from the bottom of my heart, I thank you. Now, I have just learned that Alix will need to start Remicade infusions on Monday and I am very concerned. Alix is now 10 years old and is trying to be brave about this but I am sceptical about this drug (Remicade). Alix's parents (her mother is my daughter) have consulted with Alix's physicians and feel that they have no other choice, and I support their decisions, but we all would feel much better knowing informtion from those who have " been there, done that " . I would be very grateful if you would provide me with any first hand information you have. Sincerely, Cook Grandmother to Alix, Pauci, age
