Hello Helen, friends and new friends on the list,

I've actually been popping in now and again since the summer, but it's

been sporadic because of my own medical issues, kids at a new school

with tons of homework since Sept. and still having to micromanage

every bit of it, looking for work that fits my schedule, other stuff,

etc. etc. As it turns out, I've been having MAJOR hemorrhoid flares

all fall through now and am actually going to have to have surgery in

the next couple of weeks. Very bad news since I have to drive my kids

to and from school every day! I know it's an extremely painful

recovery of many weeks, but really nothing compared to the jra our

kids have to constantly deal with. I haven't been able to sit at the

computer for very long, if at all. So that's it about me.

Hunter has been just fine since the mini-flare that started at the

AJAO Conference. Knock on wood!!!!! He's been back up to the 1 ml

mtx. injection and has been stable. He was only on pred. for about 6

weeks including the taper for his flare. Every once awhile he needs a

heating pad for one of his legs and with some added motrin it hasn't

lasted more than a couple days.

I'll be here more, but not during my surgery recovery, most likely.

My thoughts and prayers are always here.

Hugs to you all,

Stacia

Stacia,

sorry to hear of your own health problems. Its so hard to be the

mom and to be sick. Your schedule doesn't really change in needing

to manage the home and care for the children yet you feel lousy

doing it. I remember when I had that sinus infection last year for

6 weeks and couldn't sleep at night because I couldn't lay down to

breathe. I was just so miserable and exhausted and it made me feel

like a bad mommy when the kids would ask whats for supper and from

the couch I would tell them to just make a p & j.

I hope your recovery time from surgery will go very quickly!

Its been nice to see you on the board again!

Blessings,

Stacia:

When you find out your surgery date let us know so those of us who pray

can be praying on the date!

Great to see you back and hear that Hunter is doing so well. May it

continue!

Thanks for your always kind words, . How has AZ been to

Aundrea? She's off mtx now, right? Is she taking any meds.? Any

other rash incidences? I hope she's doing really well.

Yes, I'll definitely let you all know the surgery date. I'm just SO

NOT looking forward to it. I hope Rob is doing well. I think of you

guys whenever I'm in Target (which is every week). I love that store.
