,

Well, I imagine that implants can cause underactive immunity. They seem to be able to cause so many other things, that it wouldn't (or doesn't) suprise me. When you say that you have underactive immunity, that tells me that your body does just the opposite of what an autoimmune disease does. It means that your body can't fight off diseases of a bacterial or viral nature very easily, so you are predisposed to things that others normally would be able to fight off.

On the contrary, autoimmune diseases are when your body has an overactive immune system. Your body essentially attacks itselfs all the time, also predisposing you to diseases simply because your body doesn't allow your immune system to function properly.

I haven't heard much about under immunity, but my guess would be that you would not want to be put on meds like prednisone, methotrexate, plaquenil, or various others, because these suppress your immune system. I'm not quite sure how docs treat this, if they even do. You probably just need to watch what you are exposed to, and take extra good care of yourself. I believe that there are some drugs out there that help to build up the immune system, but I don't know what the criteria is for dispensing these drugs.

At least you have some answers about your health problems. I hope that this new info helps you to get better and you can decide how to handle and control your health problems. I'm not the least bit suprised that an underactive immune system could be caused or related to implants. As a matter of fact, I am suprised that more women haven't been diagnosed with this condition. I suspect that in the near future, we will hear more and more about this condition and its link to implants.

Take care and please don't hesitate to write to me if you have any more questions.

to stuff like lupus?

Not me kiddo, but at least you are starting to get some answers. I do hope they get one soon for you. There are some great immune building products that you could do a search on to see if they may help. Jackie

The immune disorder responds to the silicone immune protocol at www.plastikos.com. See the information on Plaquenil and Transfer Factor Plus at the same site. .
