Hello Arnold,

I wanted to first thank you for this group. I have visited here from time to

time over the past few years, and been able to glean, ponder, think, read,

reread. So much of what you have here makes sense to me.

My now 20 year old daughter has received much relief from intractable absence

epilepsy using MAD first and then Keto. Out of desperation I had to fight for

this therapy, and our results have been so much better than I expected. She had

failed Depakote, Topomax, Celontin, Lamictal, and Clobazam. We are doing the

diet as healthfully as possible using fresh foods, no chemicals and coconut oil.

Unfortunately, her body is deciding not to burn ketones any more. She has had

to go on Zonegran, but thankfully, it seems to be helping and we are not

experiencing any bad side effects. We are still not seizure free, but very

close. I think her seizures started due to inflammation from a second MMR she

got when she was 10. Oh how I wish I could change the hands of time and know

better, but I simply did not know much about the horror of immunizations then.

I think that the ketogenic diet has been anti-inflammatory in nature, thus

helping her brain heal.

Do you have any information on trying to undo the damage of such immunizations?

Metal detox?

I am reading many of your messages especially the ones siting the vitamin b

information.

I was wondering if you have anything written here about what a typical day looks

like for you meal-wise.

Sorry this is so wordy. I appreciate all the help you so freely offer to people

like us, looking for healing and answers.

Sincerely,

Dorene
