AED effects on Educational Performance

Hi Katharina,

The article frequently tries to avoid the direct relationship that is very

difficult to obscure. I could not find the footnotes on your homepage. But I

am curious if the subjects with epilepsy on AED " s were actually compared to

subjects with epilepsy who were NOT taking AED's or any other medication. I'm

sure these people exist, practicing Christian Scientists do not take

medication. But since the results might get patients to be " non-compliant " with

nedical treatment, they are likely to be understated and obfuscated.

~~~~~~~Hi Arnold,
the footnotes are really pointing to further reading materials, i. e. the
numbers in brackets refer to the " References " (Nr. 1-26). Please, use the
searchword " References " and you get at those Nrs. 1 to 26. It starts with
References
1. Rutter M, Graham P, Yule W. A Neuropsychiatric Study in Childhood 1970
Philadelphia, Lippincott.
But I
~~~~~~No researcher will ever dare to openly oppose orthodox medicine with

such a comparison.

In my thesis (Controlling seizures by meditative training) I was asked to cut

certain things out, and I followed insofar because they would not have given

me my university degree as a clinical psychologist. I got my A for the thesis.

But I left a half page white spot in that very page and wrote in the middle

" Self Censured " . You can see it in my book. I cut it out, but I am telling

people that I had to cut something out.

Things are like in cancer.

Orthodox medicine says,

either medication industry (chemo) or apparatus industry (radiation) or

surgery which needs both.

Same in epilepsy:

medication or biofeedback or surgery or combination of these.

The solution you mention does exist, but is not pronounced lest one becomes a

" target " .

IMHO your solution is preferrable.

I know of professionals who in public pretend to combine alternative methods

with medication, where indeed medication was totally discontinued. But for to

avoid confrontation......

This is a very serious matter. Otherwise one is put on a black list. Or

severely hindered to work, as is the case with me. I announced that I was - as a

clinical psychologist - teaching self control of seizures, and I am the only one

specialized in this field, in our professional organization, nationwide. They

suppressed it, and made it disappear from the internet. So, no one can find

me. Well, if that is not black listing.

It is so easy for them to crush you. They do not bat an eye.

It makes such a great difference to the lives of the patients to direct the

development towards natural methods. I will always abide by benefitting the

patient.

But why am I telling you this? I am carrying water to the stream, as people

use to say....
