Guest guest
Hello, I have a daughter,7 with Absence Seizures. Like most, fatigue is a trigger for her. For the last couple of months we have been taking her to school 1 1/2 hrs. late because we've noticed that she doesn't have seizures in the morning or at school when she wakes up on her own. Unfortunately she misses reading groups by going in late and we are wanting to get her back to normal school hours. Does anyone have any suggestions on getting her system to wake up earlier? She goes to bed about 8:00, and gets close to 12 hrs. of sleep, but I still have to wake her up and her brain still seems to be sleeping. Today when she got up, she had that glazed over look, but I'm not sure if it was a seizure...neither was she (she usually knows). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Candie
