Guest guest
Hi again, I was reading your post a few pages back on epilepsy and migraine/dopamine. This seems like a reasonable place for me to start looking for some answers, since has had migraines for so long ( may all along now that we think of it - he didn't always have the excruciating pain, but had ache and visual/auditroy stuff they say is migraine). When you talk remember I do not know much of what you know. I called several places today recommended by the ACAM and they did not feel they could do much for . What types of testing would I be wanting?? How do we find out about the dopamine and the vitamin b levels? I can't go to Calif to the Reitman's place, and, as I told you on a previous post they said they were not able to do anything for Lennox Gastaut types, of which has. He is very atypical, though, and high functioning. I remember the Pfeiffer place from many years ago when we were having trouble with another son. What kinds of testing do I need to have for ? He has muti -focal, and Dr Chez actually said it was possible that his problem was caused by the measle vaccine - that it might still be alive in his brain! The only way to find out is to do a brain biopsy, but he said the treatment would be steroids, so he didn't want to do a biopsy. I do believe it may have something to do with vaccines, so I suppose I need to look into metal testing etc... . This all happened to him at 2 or before, so this thing goes back way far and I would not think a simple vitamin deficiency is simply the cause. What might cause dopamine problems and what exactly does co-factor mean? I assume part of the meaning, but not all. For example, mg is the co-factor for b6. Blessings!
