Guest guest
Hi , None of my physicians in the DFW area would ever put anyone on anything containing iron, or any other form of colloidial minerals containing any form of metal minerals, as these are toxic to those of us who have had breast implants, due to the metals contained in the silicone polymer chain -- even saline implants with silicone shells. For instance, would you dare have any amalgam fillings in your teeth, so you could get more mercury poisoning into your system. BTW, my dentist tells me amalgam is no longer even legal for anyone. If you need more detailed information, I will be glad to provide you with it --- I'm just working my way through my 50+ emails per day, right now! Sent: Thursday, June 21, 2001 5:05 PM Subject: Mycoplasma therapy for me Hi everyone, Got more lab work back this week. I am anemic just slightly, and am to take iron for that. TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) is 2.1. Norms 0.3-4.8UIU/ML. Mycoplasma pneumoiea IGG AB - of 773(0-200U/ml is reference norms, baseline only)Values above 200 may indicate a recent infection with MycoplasmaP and need to be confirmed either by a positive IgM result and / or an additional specimen drawn 2-4 weeks later showing a significant increase in antibodies level. 340U/ml is positive Igm. Mine is 773 Thyroid per Ab is 741 which is very high , normal being below 35 meaning I have been building antibodies against my thyroid, and although labs show my thyroid is still functioning, the RA says we will watch, it may , or probably will show abnormal later, as I understand it.( Probably explains brittle falling out hair . C3 compliment is 79 which is low norms being 85-200. Not sure what this means but has something to do with thyroid. I will research and get back to you on it.HCT low also. I am starting on minocin 100mg. 2times daily. for at least 6 months. The herxheimer effect (increased symptoms) will hopefully be avoided by starting on 50 mg daily and building up to 200mg daily. I will write more tomorrow as I am off tomorrow from work. I hope to answer all of your questions too at that time. XOXOXO to all
Guest guest
Hi ! Thank you for that detailed run down on your lab work. It sounds like your rheumy is making some progress with you, and hopefully, understands the nature of silicone induced illness. As for the anemia, is it definitely low iron, or have you checked for B12 and folic acid deficiency, too? (Iron is usually not needed by women, at least those who are still menstruating, as we lose iron every month. Iron is a free radical, and should not generally be supplemented by most people. It is definitely needed in our bodies to help transport oxygen, however.) I hope you are feeling better from it! Keep me informed on your progess with your thyroid. I also had the lowered C3 complement, but my rheumy never discussed it, what it meant or how to treat it. I would be curious as to what you are told, and it sounds interesting that it has something to do with the thyroid. I had not heard that. In fact, here is part of a letter I received from Carolyn Bormann, ND (http://www.arrowheadhealthworks.com/ ) " Complement C3 is a gut (endothelial lining) metabolic tissue enzyme (C3 Convertase) activated by polysaccharides (grains & fungi / yeast specifically)... that has to do with inactivating the proinflammatory toxins of infectious agents & endotoxins that hit the gut lining like bacteria, virus', etc. The pathway is triggered by complex polysaccharides, including endotoxin (direct product of the implants). Decreased levels are noted in some cases of autoimmune anemia, sickle cell disease, bacteremia, nephrosis, and nephritis, rheumatoid A., lupus, Sjorgens, Candiadiasis and other fungal infections. The C3 is probably tied to your rheumatoid factor elevation which is from viral and fungal infection inflammatory byproducts most likely and allergies. Have you also had any vaccines including tetnus, since this started?...what about in the hospital during surgery? Kidneys are commonly affected also...which affects adrenals and heart function, etc. The reason C3 is elevated in patients like yourself is that you're immune system has been tremendously damaged by several events both traumatic and chronic....endotoxic agents from the implants (cisplatinum is a synthetic mineral and a chemo drug used to this day as a reagent in the manufacture of the sacs...it's what is killing women much more than silicone). You were probably given massive i.v. antibiotics during and after surgery (it's common medical practice in surgeries ) which also reduces your immunocompetence through destruction of protective good gut bacteria...and then overgrowth of these yeasts damages and depletes your C3 enzymes... it's not permanent but reversible once the immune system can recover after the reduction and removal of the insulting agents and procedures... " Have you noticed any herxheimer reactions yet? Let us know how your minocin is working!
