It should work the same way, just wean very slowly and take as long as you need

to.

PLUS IT MADE ME WANT TO KILL MYSELF BECAUSE I WASN'T GETTING ANY BETTER.WHEN I

JUDITH,MY NAME IS MARK HOGUE I WAS TAKING KEPPRA BACK IN 2003 IT NEARLY KILLED

ME IF SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS TAKING KEPPRA I'D HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT YOU GET THEM OFF

OF IT.I HAD 755 AFTER TAKING KEPPRA I NEVER HAD THAT MANY IN MY LIFE IN SUCH A

One interesting way to wean Keppra is to shave the tablet (thanks to Barb

Hunte for the idea). Instead of large drop off's (1/2 tab drops) you can

really titrate the doses down.

We had the same problem with Trileptal and Zonegran was almost as bad but it had

terrible side effects as well.
