Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to share with you that I have been feeling really, really good.

I have been doing my intramuscular B12 shots every other day, as well as eating alot of garlic. : ) I think the B12 shots were one of my missing links where the brain fog is concerned. I should have been doing these much, much more regularly, especially with the diagnosis of macrocytosis, which my doctor NEVER discussed with me.

I've found a way to actually EAT alot of raw garlic, and I have found myself craving it all the time now. I know garlic is a wonder herb, but I have always had a hard time getting it in ways other than in spaghetti sauce or other foods as a seasoning. I couldn't understand how some people could eat 12 cloves of garlic in one day!

Well, I found out. I eat alot of caesar salad, for one (that recipe I posted), but I also have started eating garlic with my bread, wrapping each clove or half a large clove in wad of bread and chewing them together. It was strong initially, but now, I am craving it. I also eat it occasionally with plain chicken breasts, clove by clove. I never would have thought of it, except I read that is how the Greeks eat garlic sometimes. I can easily eat 6 or more cloves in one sitting.

So, I am getting lots of garlic, and hopefully killing things. The only down side is the social aspect. Geez. I picked up my teenage son and his friends at the movies the other night and while we were driving home one kid says, "What's that smell?" !!! I wanted to die of embarrasment!!

Oh well. Funny stuff to look back on.

Patty
