Guest guest
When we did our hbot with , the doctor said the body's muscles (legs, arms, neck) would be much more flexible right after the chamber up to 1-2 hours would be easier to stretch and work with- I am curious how soon does the oxygen get to the brain and the tiny blood vessels? How soon must the renewed brain cells recieve training before it is stagnant? steph ________________________________ From: Donna Bateman <donna.bateman@...> medicaid Sent: Tue, May 4, 2010 7:14:41 AM Subject: [ ] Golden Hour?  I know several years ago there was talk about the " golden " hour---this being that the first hour after you got out of the chamber your brain was very receptive to any therapies done. Has this idea held up over time? I haven't heard about it in a few years, so I am just looking to see what others think. I am wondering about how to schedule Dawson's day. Would I want to do hbot in the morning and then other programs, or do the programs and do hbot in the afternoon. Or does it matter at all? Guest guest
Donna-  I still belive with all my heart that we should allway's first fdo HBOT and then proceed with other therapies. Thin about this we are flooding the brain with Oxygen we are supplying teh part of the brain that lost oxygen at that moment you trying to wake up those dorment cells. What better way to wake then up....You want to flood the brain with impulses therapies etc. move those arms and legs and do as much therapy as you can. I have an article that I can send to you. I will dig it out and get ti to you. I'm in Paris Texas we have moved here recently with my Job. But I will and can get to it I'm sure and when I do I will get it sent to you.
