Guest guest
Ed-What % of HBOT paid by CHERISH has been administered at your center and what % has been administered at other centers? What are those other centers? Who owns the other centers? And how many kids has CHERISH been able to provide treatments to? Guest guest
It has varied depending on funds, of course, since we have limited fund raising capability; and it has depended on parental/child needs as well as the other Clinics willingness to match funds. CHERISH has given out grant offers to patients at 3-4 clinics so far all over the US. As far as who owns those centers....how would I know? CHERISH doesn't ask for certificates of incorporation in order to offer a grant. Why do you ask? Guest guest
Ed, Yesterday or the day before you threatened to sue a member of the group for slander. Ed, that's unacceptable. You can't do that. Not on this group. To my knowledge, this is the only unmoderated hyperbaric discussion group on the Internet, and I'd like to keep it that way. I don't want you to ever threaten a member of my group for exercising their constitutional rights to freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. These are our most valuable assets here and our strongest weapons against the tyranny under which our children collectively suffer, and therefore freedom of assembly and freedom of speech are essential to the goals and purpose of the group--with the ultimate goal of maximizing the God-given potential of our brain-injured children. From what I've read, does not clearly see or understand the CHERISH foundation or how it's administered/governed. I do understand your frustration with her aggressive style of posting, but many of your reply posts have displayed a similar degree of impatience. I again encourage you to employ civility. It will take you far and gather many to your point of view. Again, intimidation of any member of this group by any other member(s) of this group is unacceptable. No one member is ever permitted to make any member of this group hesitant to express an opinion or ask a question, particularly if they feel threatened by fellow member(s) of this group. The last thing I want to do is put anybody on a moderated status, but I will if I have to. As for my questions, I think a lot of suspicions and doubts can be suspended and/or eliminated when full disclosure occurs. I just thought my questions would help you reach full disclosure, since it's a legal requirement anyway for any 501©(3) to always provide full disclosure on demand. Guest guest
, Slander is NOT a constitutional right. Further, you know exactly that what she said was entirely fraudulent and malicious. You know specifically, in great detail what I have done for these kids, what it has personally cost me, and you know exactly why I have done it. Further, your active encouragement of 's ongoing, and long standing slanderous behavior puts you directly in jeopardy according to my lawyer. because of you efforts I told him no. But, do not dare push me. I have a God given constitutional right as well. Especially to defend myself against willful known calculated slander that you have encouraged.. never forget that. Guest guest
, perhaps this will jog your memory about freedom of speech: The point of my post is that the information that we receive from list servs is not complete or balanced. Thus anyone who belongs to a list serv should be careful of any conclusions that they draw by participating and receiving their information this way. This is the situation on all listservs. They are not part of an open democratic process. Thus reader beware. It works both ways; balancing opinions may not represented at all. For example, no one on these list servs represents the government or regulatory viewpoint either. If there is an expectation that listservs allow or foster complete and impartial participation because they are somehow part of a democratic process, and therefore one can come to some sort of a logical conclusion based on the correspondence, it ain't necessarily so. You lament that fact, I accept it. But I believe we are in basic agreement on this On 6/18/2010 12:45 PM, Freels wrote: > > Ed, > > Yesterday or the day before you threatened to sue a member of the > group for slander. > > Ed, that's unacceptable. Guest guest
I know the frustration you both have, but this is a discussion you should be having in private. The list is no place for it.
